Faith. Faith is what keeps one wondering, thinking, and progressing. Many beliefs, like mine, are developed from religion, ethnicity, and the overall experience from life. Beliefs of Judiasm and the Iranian culture have been passed to me.
Los Angeles. The most diverse of all cities, filled with various ethnicities and religions. Currently, I live on the west side, Pico-Robertson area to be specific. Here, people of my faiths are very common, giving the people a sense of comfort and content. It is a community. My family lives close, temples are down the road, and life is spent at its best.
Prayers. Prayers are what give one confidence, support, and hope. The confidence in order to supass life, its obstacles, and fear. Prayers are recited by all religions, in places of worship and homes. The prayers and my family's beliefs were futher clarified by my uncle and mentor, Ben.
Personally, I am not completely religious, though one could call me "conservative". I am comfortable, not restricted, though still obey many of the laws about my religion, and being who I am today. I wish to learn more about my ethnicity and religion. However, I do have family members who are very religious, and at times, percive me as someone in complete difference. I see many members of my family, mostly on Friday nights.
Today was an average day, nothing special, nothing special contributing to my present happiness. The night's temperature is not significantly different from the day's. People are seen on the sidewalks of the community, walking from their temples, heading towards their homes, looking forward to a special meal filled with deliecious food accompanied by family. I am on the way to my grandmother's home, but unlike others, we are driving.
